WHAT TO KNOW
*Photographed above is Dorothy Harrison Eustis. An American philanthropist who founded the seeing-eye dog, the first guide dog in the United States. She trained Buddy, a German Shepherd, as the first guide dog to assist veterans blinded during World War I. This initiative pioneered the use of guide dogs to aid the blind and provided newfound independence and mobility to countless individuals.
*A portion of bar sales will be donated to the Downtown Women's Center.
*Only dogs that are members are allowed in the park.
