The Jack of all trades in a dog park, An individual that takes pride in the park, from watering the plants, keeping the turf clean and resetting the park for the next day of fun with the dogs. We hope to see you join the team of Groundkeepers at DOG PPL.
Groundskeeper
Responsibilities and Duties
•
Maintain the turf
•
Tend to the plants inside & around the perimeter
•
Reset the trash bins at the end of the shift
•
Wipe down customer surfaces
•
Assist in keeping the park tidy, and furniture in place
•
Complete tasks assigned in a timely efficient manner
•
Must love dogs
•
Assist other stations when needed
•
Bring all tools and equipment and maintain in proper working order
•
Stay focused and hold self-accountable
Qualifications and Skills
•
Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, fellow Members, and management to their understanding.
•
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule on occasion, days, nights, weekends, holidays… there is always an appetite!
•
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with our DOG PPL team members as well as Guests.
•
History in Agricultural or construction work
•
Problem solver; ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
•
Be able to work in a standing position for 6+ hours.
•
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
•
Team Player; works cooperatively with others toward accomplishment of shared goal
