First things first: SAFETY
We love that we have created this space for our two, four and sometimes three legged friends to enjoy! With that said: It is everyone's job to make sure we keep our furry companions and each other safe. We will have trained staff on duty to monitor play, but no one knows your beloved companion(s) like you, please help us break-in the founding pack by joining in on helping each dog familiarize themselves with their new surroundings and friends!
Before You Arrive
Make sure your dog’s information and vet records are completed on the account section of your park before our opening day. Let us know if you need any help with this. Don’t forget to ask your vet about getting your pup(s) vaccinated for Lepto. We will send an email shortly with more information on how to best keep them safe.
When You Arrive
Our Concierge will be at the entrance and ready to check you in. We ask that dogs be unleashed between the two entry gates before letting them into the off leash park area as dogs leashed tend to feel trapped as other dogs come in to greet them.
Bringing Guests
During our opening events, members may bring +1 human guest with them. Once we’ve mastered the capacity flow and it’s much safer to do so, we will expand this to +3 later. We simply ask that your guest creates an account on the website (this is free) and signs the waiver before entering. We suggest sending them the website to do so beforehand.
Parking
There is a multi-level public parking garage that sits a block across from us at 1320 4th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401 and the first 90 minutes are free. Simply park, then cross the street and walk through the Chase Bank parking lot and will be to the right. Just look for the giant palm trees. Additionally there is metered parking adjacent to us and metered spots along 5th Street.
Alcohol Service
We have made it to the final phase of securing our Beer and Wine License. According to ABC regulations, we can’t serve or have anyone consuming alcohol on the premises until then. We expect to be serving by October. Thanks for your patience.
Mask Policy
DOG PPL is an outdoor venue, mask are encouraged but not required, and of course, please stay home if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19. Hand sanitizers are readily available on site.
It is our duty as a community to keep eachother safe!
