Calling all dog lovers: want to turn your love of pups into a career? We are DOG PPL, a canine social club looking for dog attendants for our first off-leash member’s park. We created DOG PPL to give city dogs room to roam and give their owners a place to hang.

Members Concierge
Responsibilities and Duties
•
Be the face of DOG PPL welcoming every member at the front desk and greeting guests as they interact with our concept for the first time
•
Check-in pup members and their owners in a friendly and seamless manner
•
Allow members into the dog park by checking their membership status via our check-in system
•
Register new members and ensure all documentation and shots are up-to-date
•
Function as customer service desk and answer any questions members or non-members might have about DOG PPL
•
Answer incoming calls and handle common questions or route to the appropriate team member
•
Oversee retail check out process and answer questions shoppers have about merchandise
•
Pitch DOG PPL to interested parties and authentically convince them to become members (without being aggressive or overly-salesy)
•
Oversee inventory management for the merchandise shop, keep the shop looking fresh by folding shirts and restocking shelves throughout your shift
•
Maintain the appearance of the front of the park to make sure DOG PPL makes a memorable impression
•
Oversee park capacity in close coordination with the lead dog park attendant
•
Complete opening and closing duties for the dog park including locking up
•
Manage influx of members for dog-focused events and promote events to members through word of mouth
•
This person will essentially function as the right hand to the general manager and help oversee park logistics
Qualifications and Skills
•
Must love dogs! Will get to interact with pups and their owners all-day
•
Sales experience a huge plus: ability to authentic sell and convince people to become members in a non-pushy way
•
Knowledge and experience working with Point of Sale (POS) systems / Membership Dashboards
•
Hospitality and/or retail experience preferred but not necessary
•
Experience working with dogs or in a canine shop preferred but not necessary
•
Strong people skills as you will be interacting with the owners of the dogs and will be the face of our customer park experience
•
Ability to multitask and thrive in fast-paced environments
•
Comfortable around dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds
•
Responsible, reliable, honest, and able to work well independently and as a team
•
Availability to work morning, mid-day, nights, and potentially holidays
•
Ability to be physically active and lift up to 50 lbs
